Last night I realized it was Easter *next* Sunday ! Yeah….not really prepared. Well, I can’t really say that. I had bought plastic Easter eggs thinking that I’d be able to find something to do with them.
So last night I searched Pinterest for some ideas….that didn’t include real eggs. That’s too frustrating for toddlers, and even my super enthusiastic, crafty, preschooler.
Each day this week, I am going to share with you ideas for your preschoolers and toddlers (and older kiddos too can do them all. These ideas are just simple enough to do with the youngest of kids.)
Today’s Easter craft is Sharpie designed Plastic Eggs. Like I said *less* mess. Not *no* mess:)
I covered the table. And really other than their hands, my girls were clean. No spilled water, no broken eggs. Now that’s my kind of craft-virtually tearless!
You need plastic eggs, sharpies and a table cover (recommend plastic so nothing goes through.) on, and a great imagination! Just let them go and create!
After we were done, we watched the Easter Story DVD made by the makers of The Beginner’s Bible. I highly recommend this preschool bible (I am buying it for Lil’ A for her birthday). It is the best on the market in terms of accurate stories, short, but yet not missing important details bible. The illustrations are great too!
I’ll share with you all the printables and stories we are using this week too. Hopefully it will spark some ideas in your own home.
Happy Easter Week! Remember this week the price He paid for you!
