Pinterest!!!!

Oh, I have been scanning through Pinterest many, many times a day….other than reading a book & watching TV in the middle of the night, there is nothing else to do. Thankfully I am still sleep deprived enough to still fall fast asleep after thirty minutes of nursing and not just dream away how I was going to execute my next crafty find.

So to help get me back into blogging more often, here are some of my recent finds.

With the weather up here in the North, I find it hard to wear skirts all year around. I am always on the hunt to find new ways to wear them in the winter months. Here are some great ideas that I’m going to try out.

So I really love wearing a maxi skirt. Over at Elle Apparel, she wrote a whole pattern dedicated to this skirt. I made three skirts using her free pattern, before she took it down. The free version was very easy to follow, so even if you are new to sewing, buying her pattern is worth it.

Here’s a few links to some tutorials found through Pinterest. These are free:

I actually made maxi skirts for my girls. They turned out really well. Unfortunately, I don’t have any photos just yet.

Here’s some cute finds the have been inspiring my nursery makeover:

Yes, I have been sewing. I actually am almost done. I have the window covering, pillows & banner to make yet. I finished the bumper and I really love it. I am also very glad that it will serve as a nice addition to the window seat to make it cute and comfy for later on.

I have really enjoyed getting back into sewing this last week. Baby M seems to be eating every 3 hours all day, every 2 in the evening and then back to every 3 at night. He was enjoying a snack every 2 hours around the clock until he was 3 weeks old. It was then that I asked the doctor if the 2 hour thing was normal. He said it’s common with boys, but that I needed to stretch him a bit using the soother (which I gave him on the way home from the hospital anyway…third baby, I was being smart 🙂 Disagree if you like. But I enjoyed a quiet ride home and a boy who is gaining weight well.) I never experienced this with the girls, so it is a welcomed change in a way.

Hope you enjoyed my finds! If you don’t already follow me on Pinterest, do! I’d love for you to be inspired by the things I find. I also link up my own projects from time to time, as I don’t always have the time to do a tutorial. But that doesn’t mean that we can’t share ideas!

Happy Monday!
