Share the Love, Day 3

Last year, I made this pennant Love banner at a Stampin’ Up Class. I meet Brenda through Kijiji of all places, after I bought a stamp set from her. I have gone to a few classes every year since and our daughters are about 6 months apart and do enjoy playing together while I make cards. Recently my friend & I have joined a card club she runs in our small town. It’s been nice to get out and do something where I get an instant product. Not that my kids aren’t an instant product. But all the work & training doesn’t get as immediate results all the time that I’d like.

It is made with all Stampin’ Up products. I enjoy putting together these simple, but sweet projects. I haven’t done too many, but plan on doing more.

If you’d like to get ahold of Brenda to join some of her classes (they really are the best I’ve heard about or gone too. A lot of the projects have all the pieces cut already and you assemble and stamp.), leave a comment and I will e-mail her information to you.

I think I mentioned yesterday about the paper chains. We were trying to do the heart paper chains (which we did make later), but you need to use card stock, and we cut a lot of strips of construction paper. So we stamped them and made paper chains. Lil’ A actually did use the stapler with me.

I had my mommy group over on Wednesday. They were still surprised that I had time to do the crafts. Here’s my secret. I don’t cook, clean or tidy on a daily basis. I just try and do everything once. Put the dishes right in the dishwasher. Sort the mail instead of letting it pile up. All the laundry in one day (which Lil’ A now helps with). I don’t have all the answers, but I do try to at least sit and do something with my daughter for an hour in the morning. Lil’ E is now crawling around, so it is harder. But I utilize the baby carrier & high chair a lot. The high chair helps, because I give her some snacks or toys and she is right up with us at the table.

And it was cold. Like really cold one week in January. We didn’t leave the house. Hence all the little crafts. Otherwise, I might only have one or two:)

I am working on a blog about my organization tips. Hopefully it will be ready soon. I just have to get organized to finish it 🙂

In my sewing world, I finished my bathroom & office curtains, a red tutu for Lil’ E, and the girl’s shower curtain. I will be finishing up the photos tomorrow & post them this weekend. I am very excited about how everything is turning out. And the best part is, I am really enjoying it!

Happy Friday!

Krystle
