Pinterest Friday!

So, I will yet admit again…I love Pinterest! I just can’t get over how much inspiration falls into one place.

Like many new mommas, I find myself up at 1 am sometimes….usually 3am. And I find it so hard to stay awake, but not wake myself too much that I can’t go back to sleep (This happened a lot with Lil’ A, mostly with Lil’ E and very rarely with Baby M….hummm if I have any more kiddos in the next 2 years, I could just be sleep walking, and that’s no good!). The T.V really wakes me up…but Pinterest on my iPad…not as much. Maybe it’s a smaller screen…maybe it is just not as involved as the movement on a T.V. But whatever the reason, I am ok with that. Now sometimes I have to go back and see what I pinned the night before, but that’s ok:)

If you don’t follow me on Pinterest yet, come on over! I always take a look at what new followers are pinning. Pop up a few of your own ideas too! You never know, I may just feel inspired and feature your post/photo here.

Without further a-do….here’s Pinterest Friday!

I really like this idea! And really wish I would have thought of it. I plan to make one of these very soon. Our car kit in a foldable picnic basket got moved out with the addition of Baby M and his carseat, so something in a small bag with a zipper would be very handy for me. Actually….my girls have tons of little bags and backpacks that would be great for this. And well, we have no end to little trinkets around our place, that’s for sure. I’ll show y’all what I come up with soon!

I seem to remember doing something similar in my kindergarten classroom for the Dinosaur unit. My students loved it! Honestly, that was the only thing that my jumbo water table was good for…that and drying art when it was covered!

We had a lot of fun around our house with Valentine’s. Lil’ A asked, “What’s next?” and pointed to the fireplace mantel decor. I told her Easter and she got very excited! And now I am sewing her design of a skirt to wear at Easter. Apparently I am also making Lil’ E one:)

I have a lot of fonts on my computer. All of them were free. I really love fonts. I just want to find more projects to use them on. Well, here’s one. Curious to know-does anyone own a Silhouette and have you cut any fun fonts with it? I actually like one, more than I’d like a big shot.

These patterns by Violette Fields Threads are quickly becoming my favorite. I am working on something for Lil’ E for Easter, and thought this pattern may be more of a help. I actually am on my way to purchase it, so hopefully for all your seamstresses out there, I’ll have a review on it soon!

Have you seen PPB’s new spring prints yet? Ohhhhh I have! I am dreaming about the contents this bag could hold. I’d actually have arms to hold two children:)

Last, but not least….I share with you my favorite for SPRING! Coral Shoes…with a bow? Yes, please! I really detest paying shipping for things…but even more so, I don’t like “maybe” paying customs fees. It’s just plain annoying when our dollar is pretty much the same as the US dollar. But that’s a whole other story. I may be daydreaming about these shoes for a while…

I’ll get back on the band wagon of being more focused in my Pinterest Friday’s next week. It has just been sooooo long!

Now…here’s a contest for you!

I am 16 pins away from 4,000 pins! Crazy I know! (I am really trying to keep them all organized so I can find them all when I need them!)

Come and follow me, I’ll follow you back. This week only, I will just pin things from those I follow.

The person I pin my 4,000th pin from will be the winner of either a superhero cape for their little superhero or a Daisy’s tutu for their princess!

To be eligible for the prize, you must comment (Maybe, tell me what you enjoy reading the most on the blog) under this post that you follow me on Pinterest! (This is so that I can contact you to claim your prize!) You will have 24 hours to claim your prize via e-mail.

I’m excited to see all your cool finds!

Enjoy your new inspirations!
