10 things…

So, I’ve seen this kind of post on a few blogs lately. I like to keep my life pretty private, but not. Ok, that doesn’t make sense, but it’s reality. I like to be open and honest, but yet keep things close to my heart. I thought of starting with 25…but why bite off more than I can chew? That would really make my brain work too much I think.

Here it goes…(In no specific order)

1. I want to have at least 4 kids! My husband always laughs when I say it. I am 2 months into having 2 kids, and have already started talking about the next one. Crazy, I know!

2. I secretly want to make my living being a writer. Ok, so it is not longer a secret! Ha! I actually finished writing a novel over almost 8 years…and am now rewriting it. The ending surprised me a bit too much.

3. I don’t want to retire in Arizona….I want to retire on the coast of North Carolina and live in a beach house!

4. I miss teaching almost as much as I miss eating Oreo Cookies (I’m trying to eat healthy  because I have a toddler who watches everything. No cookies for Lil’ A means no cookies for Mommy)

5. I cried almost every day for 3 months after Lil’ A was born because I would try everything on in my closet and nothing fit! So ridiculous, but at the time I was devastated. Any mom who gained more weight that she was told to by her doctor can understand where I am coming from.

6. Ok, a lot of my friends know this, but I am a pack rat- not a hoarder…I at least pack it nicely and orderly and carry it around with me:) I still have clothes in my closet that I wore in highschool that I just can’t get rid of.

7. While I don’t have as many shoes as my mom :), I am constantly on the hunt for the next original, one of a kind pair of shoes. I found a great pair of purple heels at Winners earlier this week-sadly they were too big:(

8. I don’t have any sisters, but always wished I did…until I meet my kindred spirit, Sarah. I knew that was the reason I didn’t get any sisters-God was waiting for us to meet. Sometimes the best family is the family we make for ourselves!

9. I want to be able to live off of 10% and give away 90% one day. I miss going on Mission trips (which is pretty hard with toddlers and infants at home). Times and seasons….I can’t wait to take my girls on a mission trip.

10. I longed for the days when I could sleep until 8am, and be woken up by a little blonde haired, blue eyed princess and stay in my PJs all day and my “employee” wouldn’t mind a bit. Right now, I can’t even think about going back to teaching with the kids get to school age. Homeschool? 🙂 lol!

Yes, this is Lil’ A. She actually feel asleep beside me like this two weeks ago. Soooooo cute!!!!!!!!!!

Well, I hope you kindof feel like you know a bit more about me. Perhaps next time I will dive into more details….maybe:)

Happy Friday!

Krystle
