So, yes, I missed a week of posting. I am so sorry…but I did warn you all that it may happen. My therapy sessions haven’t been writing this past week, but with my mattress. Please forgive me.<\/p>\n

Here’s what I’ve been looking at this week. I’m hoping to make a skirt before I pack up my machine until January (actually I’ll probably dig it out to have some therapy about Dec 2nd:) Post a photo on our facebook page if you do try any of these out! I’d love to see how you customize them to make them uniquely you.<\/p>\n

This is my top choice right now. Without the bow. I think it will work well with the fabric I have. And I am going to try a wide elastic waistband.<\/p>\n

This is a definite “to-do”! I really like the detail. I think I could knock this one off…in my spare time (Anyone have some I can have? I’ve seemed to run out…in 2009)<\/p>\n

I made this skirt. I really like it. It turned out much bigger than it should have. I followed the pattern to a tea. I had to take it in two or three times until I was satisfied<\/del> tired of doing so.<\/p>\n

I made the “Socialite Skirt” pictured bottom center. It was very easy-if you know how to sew with jersey\/knit. It takes practice and a good stretch needle in your machine. The skirt is very comfortable.<\/p>\n

All this skirt talk makes me sad in a way. It is pretty much too cold to wear them right now, as the wind is ripping around my house as I type this. I figure if I make a bunch up right now, I’ll have plenty come spring. Or I can just pull out my boots and tights….<\/p>\n
