Sometimes I don’t feel like I am enough. I don’t have enough time for all the people in my life let alone all the things I know God has called me to do.<\/p>\n

But I do think that in time I will get it all accomplished. Why, you might ask? Well I believe that God doesn’t give us what we can’t handle. He has a plan for us. He knows what we need to get done in a day. He also knows what we are supposed to do with our lives. I have confidence that I will accomplish that which he has called me to.<\/p>\n

But….<\/p>\n

But the kids….<\/p>\n

But the laundry….<\/p>\n

But my husband…we seem out if sync….<\/p>\n

But my hobby….<\/p>\n

But my time with Him….<\/p>\n

This one is the most important to make all the other things succeed.<\/p>\n

How desperate are we for Him? How desperate are we for His touch in our daily lives?<\/p>\n

Today in church we sang a chorus about this. We sang it twice during the service. Our pastor, Pastor Ron spoke about really digging in and doing what He has called you to do. Take a class. Learn more about whatever it is that He has given you a passion for. At the root of it all should be God’s heartbeat-people.<\/p>\n

I once heard it said, when our heart beats God’s heart, he speaks.<\/p>\n

Do something for someone else, and I guarantee He will help you find that extra hour to read that book, study for that class, write that blog post. He will answer your needs.<\/p>\n

And yes, that means the laundry pile will shrink. (And maybe the dishes beside the sink on my counter!)<\/p>\n
